Nature of Business

องค์การสุรา กรมสรรพสามิต เป็นหน่วยงานในสังกัดกรมสรรพสามิต กระทรวงการคลัง ซึ่งได้รับสิทธิ์ตามพระราชบัญญัติสุรา ปีพุทธศักราช 2493 ให้เป็นผู้ผลิตและจำหน่ายแอลกอฮอล์บริสุทธิ์เพียงแห่งเดียวในประเทศไทย เพื่อตอบสนองความต้องการของทุกภาคส่วนอุตสาหกรรมและบริการ ได่แก่ อุตสาหกรรมยาและเวชภัณฑ์ อุตสาหกรรมอาหาร อุตสาหกรรมสำหรับผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ใช้กับร่างกาย อุตสาหกรรมเครื่องมือ เครื่องจักร อุปกรณ์อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ และอุตสาหกรรมเครื่องดื่ม รวมถึงการใช้ในห้องวิเคราะห์วิจัยทางวิทยาศาสตร์ โดยองค์การสุราฯ ได้การรับรองระบบมาตรฐาน ISO9001, ISO14001, GMP/HACCP และ ISO/IEC17025 และได้รับรองมาตรฐาน มอก. 640-2553 เล่ม 1 และ 2 มาตรฐาน KOSHER ในส่วนของผลิตภัณฑ์ รวมทั้งอยู่ระหว่างการขึ้นทะเบียนมาตรฐานฮาลาล ซึ่งผลิตภัณฑ์ขององค์การสุราฯ แบ่งออกเป็น 2 กลุ่ม คือ แอลกอฮอล์บริสุทธิ์ตั้งแต่ 95% ขึ้นไป และแอลกอฮอล์แปลงสภาพ

It is the authorised sole producer and distributor of pure alcohol in Thailand under the liquor act B.E.1950.  The alcohol production is to meet the needs of industries such as the pharmaceutical and medical industry, food industry, industry for body products, industrial machinery and equipment industry, beverage industry and scientific research laboratory use.
 
Liquor Distillery Organization, Excise Department has been certified under the international standard for quality management systems (ISO 9001), Environmental management (ISO14001), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and the test methods are accredited under ISO/IEC 17025. Its products are certified under the Product Certification TIS 640-2553 (1, 2) and KOSHER standard, including request for registration for Halal Certification. We produce and distribute 2 categories of alcohol and higher and Denatured alcohol.
